Spanish RYA Basic Navigation Course

The RYA Basic Navigation is a 2-day introductory theory course into basic navigation and safety.
This new RYA Course aims to introduce a whole new group of boat users to RYA training including anyone new to boating, power-boaters, sea anglers, divers, boat masters, experienced dinghy and keelboat sailors and inshore racers.

RYA Course topics include:

· Charts and publications

· Safety including engine checks

· Buoyage

· Tidal awareness

· Visual navigation and pilotage

· Rules of the road

· Electronic navigation

· Anchoring

· Weather forecasts

· Passage planning

There is no end of course exam, as assessment of the students’ learning will take place throughout the course.
